Bonus post!

I’ve decided to give the Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge a go. This week’s topic was Atop. I have taken a lot of photographs from up high during my travels. This one is a favourite of mine. It’s taken at Makara Beach, and I find it beautiful. You can see the windmill farm in the distance, but otherwise it looks pretty untouched by people and day to day life. The weather was also perfect this day (which is saying something for Wellington), and you can see the sea stretching out. Rory and I enjoyed our random mini hike that day, it was nice to get away from town and spend time on our own. I remember just feeling happy, enjoying the view, and each other’s company.
