Hello! I got lots of great feedback from you guys about my post Leisurely Walks. I really loved going through all the photos I had taken while I was out on a walk. So this may start a series of sorts, where I write less, and let my photos do the talking.
Yesterday, we had some lovely weather here in Wellington for a change. It was nicer than it had been in weeks. Instead of walking around though, we had plans to go out and spend some time with Rory’s family which is not walking distance. It’s a 15 minutes drive out of town, and while we were driving, I took out my phone and started taking photos for no real reason, other than I wanted to.
Have a look!
We spent all afternoon there, hanging out and chatting together. We even played a round of Trivial Pursuit (or four). Then we headed back home, where I continued the tradition of trying to take nice photos from my phone in a moving vehicle.
So yeah, that’s it. I really like taking photos. Its not until I looked back on these that I really thought about how green it is everywhere. Not all places are though. It’s hard to find someplace where you can’t see green, or hills.
Hope you enjoyed another sneaky look into my hometown of Wellington. This time from a car! There were so many blurry pictures that I still have on my phone.
Angela.
Hahaha! ‘…at this point I got blinded by the sun, but still took a photo’ 🤣 you crack me up girl.

Thank you! XD We had just rounded a corner and I wasn’t expecting it, but my finger was already on the button!

Hi, We loved Wellington when we visited a couple of weeks ago. Definitely my favourite city in NZ. The harbour is beautiful and we got sunshine too! Cheers, Dan

WOW, how can you take such good pictures while moving? I get blurred ones even if I’m still! The weather was lovely, indeed. Beautiful sights too!!

Thanks Cheila! Its taken me a while, but I feel like I’m getting really good at taking photos with my phone. I discovered (when Rory told me a few months ago), that by double tapping the screen, it focuses your shot. I rely on that feature a lot 😀

One of my favorite things to do is taking “on the road” pictures. You can see and capture some of the greatest things. And something about driving on a nice sunny day is so soothing and peaceful! I love the snap you took of Rory driving. I have so many of those of Andrew haha. Lucky for us we have our boyf but in your case hubby to drive us as we snap the photos 🙂 You took some great shots, especially while on the move! Impressive!!!

Thanks Jenny! I don’t normally take photos from the car, but it’s so much fun! We are lucky that our SO can drive, so our hands are free to snap away 😀
Sunny days just make everything better (and more photogenic lol).
