Hi guys!
I’ve been nominated by Elena from outn’about for two awards. I’ve already done the Versatile Blogger Award (it was my first ever award!), so I will be doing the One Lovely Blog Award. They both have similar rules, so get ready to hear some facts!
Rules:
- Thank the person who nominated you and link to their blog
- Post about the award
- Share 7 facts about yourself
- Nominate 10 people
- Let your nominees know you’ve nominated them!
Elena has a wonderful blog which I suggest you check out! It’s similar to mine where she posts about her thoughts, ideas, rambles and photographs! Her tagline is “A blog for all those, who love writing, reading, creating, just because it makes you smile”, which is so lovely.
Seven Facts About Me
- I use my phone everyday to the point where I need to charge it everyday.
- I constantly lose my iPod. My tiny little iPod nano, every morning before I go, I’m running around looking for it, because I can’t go walking around without my music.
- Speaking of losing things, I always lose my hair clips. I keep buying them, and they keep vanishing. Where do they go?
- I love mandalas. I have a lotus mandala tattoo (and I want to get a full one next), I love looking at them, and I just bought a colouring book specifically with only mandala designs.
- I am very sentimental. I keep all the things. Cards, tickets, souvenirs, knick knacks.
- I prefer being cold to being hot. It’s easy to warm yourself up, but harder to cool yourself down. Room temperature is perfect.
- I prefer having a tv show or Youtube clip playing in the background as I do things, rather than music. Not really sure why.
Time to nominate people. I nominate everyone who has yet to claim this lovely award. I love reading everyone’s blogs, so I’ll open it up to the floor 😀
If you have a random fact you’d like to share about yourself, let me know down in the comments, I always love knowing random tidbits about you guys.
As always, if you’d like to know a little more about me, feel free to check out the other awards I have been lucky enough to get. You can find these in the Awards category 😀
Angela.
Congrats on your award 🎈

Why are iPod NaNo’s so easy to lose? Hahaha! I’ve had two different ones over the years, and they both easily get lost – usually in the depths of my purse. 😂 I’d love to accept this lovely (hehe) award! I haven’t been nominated for it before, so I’d enjoy posting about it, if you don’t mind. 😊 I hope you’re having a great day, Angela!

Right? I lose it so many times in a day. I think its just too small 😂
And consider yourself tagged and nominated Maggie! I can’t wait to read your post on this award 😄😄

I find it fascinating how different people can be. I always have music playing in the background. I never even consider some people prefer words for background noise. Another fact, I almost always have a pair of headphones on me to listen to music. If I don’t have them it’s because I forgot them at home.

Yeah its funny how we all prefer different background noise. Growing up, the tv was always on. I think that’s why I prefer having shows rather than music on in the back

Congrats! I wish I were like you with no.6 as I am perpetually cold (result of health condition) & struggle with ever being able to warm up! Thanks for sharing =]

Losing hair clips and hair bands…all day everyday! I have had to give myself a separate place to store them, and try to force myself to put them back, every time I take them out. I’m also sentimental. My favourite childhood film was the Lindsay Lohan version of The Parent Trap. The twins have their own tinned boxes which they store memories in, and I have now done the same! haha I fulfilled one of my childhood wishlists.

That’s really cute that you have a little memory box!!
And yes, I lose all the hair clips. I literally just lost another two from this morning XD

I always have YouTube videos on in the background, usually the Jenna and Julien Podcasts! I think mandalas are gorgeous too! xxx

You deserve it 🙂 ‘Where do they go?’ Read Cecilia Ahern’s A Place Called Here? It will make you smile 🙂

So nice to read your facts! And oh my god, I wished I knew where all those hair clips and hair ties disappear! I’ve lost a ridiculous amount of them!

Thanks Elena! And yeah, there’s just some magic hole that they all drop into, and never return.

Mandalas are awesome! I’m just now starting to draw them. It’s hard, but so pretty! Congrats on getting nominated for the award!

Thanks May! And wow! I don’t think I could draw them, they’re so complex looking, but so beautiful. Good luck!! 😀

Hair clips….thats totally me too…and bobby pins! I buy a whole pack and before I know it, they’re all vanished and gone missing lol. I think it’s sweet that you keep all your knick-knacks perfect for making memorbilias….do you ever make scrapbooks with them?

I have made a scrapbook with my travel memorabilia, one for Peru, and I’m currently making one for Sydney. As for the others, I normally make keepsake boxes for them. I have one for my wedding, and one from stuff back in school 😀
