30 Day Blogging Challenge – Day 11

Welcome to Day 11 of the Blogging Challenge, that I’m doing alongside Maggie and Cheila, we all started at different times, but we’re gonna see it through together! 😀

Day 11 is about my favourite blogs. Which I was a little bummed about, as how on earth am I gonna narrow this down? I follow a looot of blogs, and there’s heeeeaps that I always look forward to and make a point to read every new post they come out with.

Also, you guys know how much I love rambling, and I could go on forever about all the amazing bloggers out there, and how much I love their blogs. So, I’m gonna come up with a number, let’s say 5 (I cut it down, this post was getting out of hand and reeeally long hahaha), of blogs who I love to see come up with my reader. I’m going to leave out those blogs who I mentioned in Friends for Days Tag, so I can talk about even more amazing blogs in this post. (Just know Kana, Alli, Jenny, Dippy Dotty Girl, Linda, My Life Online, that I still really love your blogs too 😀 ) Okay, let’s go, in no particular order, here are 5 of my favourite blogs.

Say Yes to the Dress

Say Yes to the Dress

Are you all ready for this week’s little Throwback Thursday post? I was scrolling through Google Photos, trying to think of what I could do for a TBT, and I realised that around this time last year, was when I first tried on what would become my wedding dress. On May 14 2016 in fact, according to the date on these photos. So I thought I would take you through the adventure I went through choosing my wedding dress.

Here we go.

Originally, I was planning on buying my dress online over at JJ’s House. The one I was eyeing up was this one, which you can see from all angles here. There were a few others I liked, but I just really liked the look of this one, and there were lots of positive reviews from this site. Jo and Kruti got their bridesmaids dresses from JJ’s House in the end.

However, for fun and giggles, I thought it would still be fun to go into a bridal boutique and try on some dresses. My sister was coming down to town that weekend (May 14), so I thought it would be fun for her and me to try on dresses and to bring along mum. Sounded like a lot of fun in general. So I contacted Sally Eagle and made an appointment to come in.

The below images are not mine, but from the official Sally Eagle site on Google Maps. But it shows just how beautiful and open the boutique is.

Reflections in Water

This Week’s Photo Challenge Theme is Reflecting.

For my interpretation, I’ve compiled photos during my life and travels, where the reflective nature of water is put on display.

On a calm day, where you can see the boats, and watch the different colours and shades move on the surface of the water.

Or catch the light making ripples.

Even on the other side of the world, the water catches reflection and shadows and I feel the need to be capture it on film.
