Helloo!! Welcome to another baking post, today is another muffins post!

This time, I tried Banana Crumble Muffins. You guys know I’m a fan of crumble on top of muffins, it just puts it over the top and so much more scrumptious! You can find the recipe here. This recipe was enough for 12 muffins.

First make sure you have everything you need.

For the muffins:

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup canola oil

For the crumb topping:

  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp butter

Let’s get started!

In a large bowl, add together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

Mix it up.

Mash the bananas.

In another bowl, add mashed bananas, white and brown sugar, vanilla, egg, and oil.

Beat it all together.

Add the banana mixture into the flour mixture.

Add the cinnamon you totally didn’t forget to add earlier.

Mix it all up.

Get the muffin liners ready.

Spoon them in evenly in all the liners.

In a small bowl, make the crumb topping. Add the flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and butter.

Dig your hands in and crumble it all together.

Sprinkle topping over the muffins.

Bake at 190 degrees Celsius for 15-20 minutes, or until the toothpick comes out clean.

Now you have some banana crumb muffins.

They are so delicious!! I ate some once they were less hot, but still really warm. So good! The topping makes it even better!

  1. The crumble looks nice on those muffins. I was only confused what 190 degrees Celsius was as those of those in the USA go by Fahrenheit. Still good looking muffins

      1. Thanks Meg! I always love crumble on muffins. I forget to share the Fahrenheit degrees, as I’m used to Celsius. Glad you found it in the link! 😄

      2. Makes sense. The whole Celsius vs Fahrenheit and the cups vs grams is so confusing. Too bad it wasn’t the same.
