1000 Followers Party Hangover

Well hello all. You may know that I recently hit 1000 followers during the week, and to celebrate, I had a little (big) blogging party. I reposted it a few times to give everyone a chance to come by, and boy did the party get huge. My notification feed was going nuts, and since I get an email for every like and comment, my email got pretty full as well. But I’m not complaining, in fact I’m doing the opposite. I wanna say thank you to everyone who came by and celebrated reaching 1000 followers with me. So many people brought something to the party, talked to everyone else, and even when I left to go to sleep, the party just kept on swinging 😂

So this post will be a wrap up of the party of sorts, I’m now going through all the comments and collecting what everyone has brought. This way we can all get a visual of how crazy this party got.

Christie brought pizza and ice cold beers!

Ella brought brownies, and ice cream!

Ash brought pizza and music!

Someone (no one knows who) brought some fireworks!

Mariam brought over some more drinks and music!

Azra brought over champagne!

Janah brought over food, including taco chips, chicken nuggets, and a rainbow cake. As well as a clown who may or may not have shown up!

 

Siyana brought over Banitsa, a Bulgarian dish!

Shinavy brought over chicken wings!

Shahnaz brought over props for pictures!

Natalie brought over homemade pink punch which may or may not have alcohol in it!

Cheila brought over a whoopee cushion and her dog Rosa!

Pamela brought extra phone chargers!

Jordyn brought a pinata!

Bludgers and Broomsticks brought a disco ball!

Sarah brought over the game Heads Up!

 

Gemma brought over the karaoke machine!

Shanika brought over baked goods and Southern Inspired Foods!

Kate brought over watermelon!

Colors of my Life brought lots of treats! Biryani with mint yogurt sauce, Milk with yogurt sauce, Russian Salad, and pineapple custard and carrot cake!!

Nivi brought Long Island Iced Teas!

Hazel brought over ice!

Nina brought over her famous pasta salad!

Laura brought over some delicious homemade chocolate cake and red velvet cupcakes!

Cherylene brought over beef lasagne and a bottle of red wine!

Olivia brought over barbeque even though she’s vegetarian! So we scrounged up some grilled veges and vege burgers as well!

Hannah brought over more brownies!

Jirah brought over her camera to help record the party too, as well as menudo!

Jainey brought over some video games!

Kali brought lemonade and gluten free cake!

Cassi brought over her makeup skills and offered free makeovers for everyone!

Lyz brought over vodka, bbq chips and potato salad!

Amelia brought over chocolate fudge!

Emma brought over party games!

Jenny brought over crockpot meatballs in sauce and chocolate covered cheesecake bites!

Sara brought a pass the parcel! (With a unicorn inside!)

This party turned out way more amazing than I could ever imagine! Thank you to everyone who came by and partied with me! You guys are all amazing, and I can’t imagine a better way to celebrate reaching 1000 followers!

      1. I do understand where you’re coming from Jen, but this kind of post is just for fun. I don’t claim them as my own, I’ve stated their not. Often I share my own photos, but for this one I just wanted visuals to add to make it more fun. Similar to when I share inspirational quotes, or movie posters which I’ve found from Pinterest or Google Images.

      2. That it’s for “fun” is irrelevant. And it doesn’t matter whether you don’t claim them as your own. The images and their copyright belong to someone else, and they need to be credited back to their original source – Google is not the author. And Google Images is not the same as Pinterest. I suggest you do some research on ethical considerations and copyright laws, otherwise you may be stealing images.

      3. I probably won’t do research on those, cause I can’t be bothered truth be told. I’ll be real with you Jen, all this blogging stuff is just fun for me, and I like browsing through Google Images to see what photos are out there. But I do get what you’re saying. It’s different from just browsing, to placing them in my posts and publishing them in my blog. It could be considered stealing images. I’ll definitely keep this in mind when I next make a post and look to use an image that’s not mine. For now, I’ve taken all the photos out and replaced them with royalty free stock ones from Pixabay. If I do use photos from Google Images in future, I will make sure to make note of where it came from and give full credit.

      4. Great. I just wanted you to know that not properly citing sources is copyright infringement and can have serious consequences. It’s something you should be bothered to research if you are going to be blogging. It’s not that it could be considered stealing images – it is stealing. Saying it is just for fun is not an excuse. If you get caught, it won’t be fun anymore. Please consider this, and happy blogging.

    The clown didn’t make it because apparently some of our blogger friends are scared of clowns. Nonetheless, it was still a rocking party with all the great food and great people. Congrats! 💕

  20. Great reflection of the party! It was fun to picture being drunk and meeting new people at a party when I was really at work😂 So glad we were all able to come together and put on a good celebration. Also love the collage you added at the end! xx

  22. Sooooo whens the next partaaaayyy?!?!!? 😉 Also I didn’t realize Tiana brought puppies, I already like her!! haha The pictures for some reason aren’t showing up, maybe its just on my end though?
