So I was looking around online for tag ideas as I sometimes do. I found something on Pinterest, and you can find the original post here.
I believe it’s been done by some beauty vloggers before, such as Marzia. She did this three years ago, so it’s definitely not recent. But it looked like fun, so I wanted to give it a try.
Here we go.
What is the oldest item in your wardrobe/closet?
This beige cardigan. It was originally my sister’s but at some point it became mine. I’ve been wearing this since 2008, and I still wear it regularly.
What is the newest item?
This Pusheen sweater! I love it so much! I bought it from Jay Jays last month. I haven’t actually bought much clothes recently. Since then, I have bought some gloves and shoes. But for this post, I wanted to just show clothes.
What is the most expensive item?
My wedding dress technically. But for regular clothes, I will say this maxi dress from Portmans. I think it was around $120, which I normally never do. But I just fell in love with the dress.
What was the biggest bargain?
This black singlet. I got it from Rebound, which is a second hand store for around $3. I wear it constantly.
Also, this alpaca cardigan which I got in Peru. It only cost me 20 soles, which is around $8 NZD. It’s so comfy and gorgeous.
What was the biggest waste of money?
I got this white coat from when I worked at the Red Cross Opshop. It was around $20 which isn’t bad, but I just never wear it.
What is the most affordable/cheapest item (that you use a lot)?
This hoodie which I got for $20 at NZSale. It’s so darn comfortable and I love to wear it all the time. I had been looking for a good hoodie for aaages, and I was so happy to come across this.
What are your 3 favorite items right now?
At the moment, that would be my blue cardigan my blue and white patterned singlet and jeggings. They make up my most common outfit. I wear at least one of these on a daily basis XD
What is your favorite piece that you’ve gotten as a gift?
My lovely best friend (and maid of honour!) Kruti, recently got me this Harry Potter themed sweater!! I love it! We’ve both often gotten each other Harry Potter themed gifts, it’s become our thing as we’re both big fans!
What is the most comfortable item?
This romper!! It’s so comfortable, and I love wearing it. I don’t ever want to get out of it XD
What is the most outrageous/colorful item in your closet (that you absolutely love)?
I haven’t worn this in ages, only cause it’s not the season. I bought these from Paddy’s Market in Sydney. They’re so colourful, but I love them so much. I wore them often in Sydney and when it was summer.
What is the most uncomfortable item (but you would take the pain because you love it)?
This gorgeous, fluffy ombre cardigan. It looks cute, and I get so many compliments when I wear it. But it’s so itchy!! I think it’s a wool blend or something, but after a while it really does start to bug me. But I love it…
Where do you shop the most at?
Quite a few really. Glassons, Dotti, JayJays, The Warehouse, Sallies, Red Cross…a mixture of retail stores and second hand stores.
Pick your favorite black item and your favorite white item.
The above mentioned black singlet, and this white skirt. It’s lacy, floral and wooshes around when I walk.
Also, bonus. This cardigan that is both black and white! Polka dots!!
Something you love but everyone else hates?
Okay, so this lovely floral bomber jacket that I got from Jo as she didn’t want it. It takes a while to get used to, and honestly, I’ve started feeling that it’s not quite me.. So I don’t really love this either actually. But I still want to give it a shot.
Something that you’re excited to wear soon?
This cool dress I got from Mirrou a few months back! I had to hem it as it was miles too long, but it’s so cute! Look at the elephants! Course I bought this in April when we were heading into winter. So now I have to wait until warmer weather when I can actually wear it. I’m so excited though!
