It’s been a month since my last bonus round, I’m still so thrilled when you guys nominate me for awards! It really does mean a lot when I’m on your mind 🙂
Let’s get into it!
First of all, this is officially my 300th post. 300 guys, and I’ve only been blogging for 5 months! Yikes, I write a lot. Anyway.
Yesterday I posted about my makeup collection, as I was going through them, I decided to also go through my tiny collection of skin care and hair care products!
Come have a look!
Hair Care
RedKen High Rise Volume Shampoo and Conditioner
Before this shampoo I used to use Head & Shoulders, everyday. Not the best technique. Anyway, when I met up with my makeup and hair artist late January, she gave me some tips on how to better look after my hair. One was to stop using Head and Shoulders everyday. She encouraged me to find a volume shampoo as my hair was super limp and oily. I found this one, and I’ve been really happy with it. I’m keen to explore other shampoos out there after they run out though.
Dove Nutritive Therapy Nourishing Oil Care Shampoo
My hair still somewhat has frizzy issues, so I thought I’d try this one next. Plus my volume shampoo is running out. I’m keen to see how this one goes.
Schwarzkopf Extra Care Styling – Heidi’s Heat Styles Heat Protection Spray
That’s a mouthful right? Anyway, I tend to use my hairdryer and hair straightener a lot, so I thought it was time to invest in some kind of heat protection spray.
Skin Care
Vaseline Intensive Deep Care Restore Lotion
This moisturizer often goes everywhere with me. I’ve used it on and off the past couple of years. It’s quite good in winter, especially for dry skin.
Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion for Dry Skin
Another moisturizer for dry skin. This one is lighter than the other one. I use it a lot on my arms and body. It’s also technically Rory’s but I’ve been slowly using it more and more. It feels really nice.
Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist, Jurlique Activating Water Essence
I got these from Marzia’s Holiday Favourites. The mist feels and smells really nice, it makes my skin feel fresh. Which after a long hot shower is probably really good as my face feels dry. The water essence thing helps with hydration, I’ve been using these two together every morning (and most evenings) for almost a year now. I even bought more of the products when they ran out earlier this year.
Derma E Vitamin C Concentrated Serum
I got it from Marzia’s Summer Favourites Box. It smells so good! Citrusy, and fresh. It’s meant to be used in the morning and evening, it’s a teeny bottle though so I’m trying to save it up.
Crabtree & Evelyn Caribbean Wild Flowers Hand Therapy
I got it from Marzia’s Summer Favourites box too. This hand cream makes my hand smell and feel so good! But I’m trying to save it up for summer, as I’m currently using up my other moisturizers.
So that’s it for this mini collection! Do you guys have any of these? Do you have any recommendations in terms of skin/hair care? I’d love to know!
Angela.
