Let’s Bake! (Lemonade Cupcakes Edition)

While going through Anni’s blog for my Have You Met series, I came across all her delicious looking cupcakes. So I decided to try her Lemonade Cupcake recipe. Be sure to check out her post as she is the one who originally shared it 😀

Also, I can’t wrap my head around mls and grams, as I go by cups, so I’ve done some conversions.

As always, first make sure you have what you need.

For the cupcakes:

• 2 eggs
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla extract/essence
• 1/4 cup (almost) vegetable oil
• 1 cup flour
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1/4 cup (almost) Fanta (or other orangey sodas out there)

For the topping:

• 1 cup (almost) cream
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 2/3 cup (not quite 3/4 but more than 1/2) sour cream
• 1 package vanilla pudding powder

Haaaaaaaaave you met Meg?

Meg blogs over at Wandering Meg. She’s based in Sheffield, England. She’s 20, and is currently a university student. She started her blog in January. She blogs three times a week, about “travel, lifestyle, beauty and everything in-between” as her tagline says!

Like with many of my blogging friends, I can’t remember how long I’ve been following Meg or who find who first! Nevertheless, we’ve been supportive of each other, and I always love checking out what Meg has been writing about, and I especially love seeing where she’s visited!

One of my main interests is Travel and I am currently trying to see the world one city at a time alongside my best friends and boyfriend, funded only by a student loan and a piggybank.

• Why I Started Blogging

To celebrate her 6 month blogiversary, Meg shares with us all the story of how Wandering Meg came to be. She’s always been a fan of blogs, and had lots of stories and recommendations to share. The final push she needed was a kick up the backside by her roommate and best friend Amy.

Josh and Meg celebrated her 20th birthday in style with a trip to Budapest!! I love seeing travel posts to places I have never seen (don’t we all?) and this is chock full of lots of pictures, adventures, and apparently 38 degree heat.
