What’s Up Wednesday #6

The first Wednesday of the month has arrived (or is Tuesday still for some of you?), and I’m teaming up with Shay and co for another What’s Up Wednesday.

What We’re Eating This Week

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Snacks. I can’t really get too specific in these, we tend to choose on the day rather than plan in advance.

What I’m Reminiscing About

Fiji, again. I haven’t reminisced about our honeymoon in a bit, but Jo and Tib have recently shared their travel photos from Rarotonga for their honeymoon. It’s another beautiful island and has brought back lots of Fiji memories for me.

What I’m Loving

My planner and journals. I’m enjoying just filling them all in. It’s so much fun.

What We’ve Been Up To

Not much since getting back from Auckland. Just hanging out and talking about possible future trips.

What I’m Dreading

I’m not really dreading anything at the moment actually. It’s kind of nice.

What I’m Working On

I’m working on looking at our possible trip to Japan next year. I’m checking out what things we might want to see, cities to visit, places to stay, and all that fun planning stuff.

What I’m Excited About

The warmer weather we’re having. It’s getting me pumped for summer!

What I’m Watching/Reading

Right now we’re watching a lot of Netflix. Currently, we’re into the second season of Stranger Things.

I’ve been reading random books off my TBR list that look like fun. Currently it’s Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus.

What I’m Listening To

I’ve been listening to a few of the Riverdale songs lately. Mainly I Feel Love and Milkshake. I’m always a sucker for good covers.

What I’m Wearing

A lot of blue.

What I’m Doing This Weekend

This weekend, currently we don’t have any plans. If the weather is again really sunny, then we may go out somewhere.

What I’m Looking Forward to Next Month

November is kind of an in between month for me. October is fun as it’s Halloween and birthdays. December is even more fun because it’s my birthday and Christmas! So right now, I’m more looking forward to the end of November.

What Else Is New

Not too much, just still making my way through my goodies from the Night Time Cozy box. There’s so many masks to try, and I’m both trying to savour them, and just use them all.

What’s up with you guys?

    1. It was so good! We ended up binge watching it during the weekend 😀
Our plans for Japan are pretty tentative, but we’re doing our best to save up and make sure we get there! It’s been on my bucket list since forever 😀

  1. What day in December is your birthday?? My husband’s is the 11th! Pretty neat! Also I have heard EVERYONE talking about Stranger Things. It’s making me think I should watch it, though I’m so not good with paranormal stuff… But I’m seeing it everywhere as amazing, haha.

    1. I’m on December 9! It’s pretty close to your husbands ?
It’s more of a sci fi/fantasy show than paranormal. Although all of those genres have similar themes ? I would say give it a go at least, it’s such a cool show with amazing characters and actors. Also one of the few shows which have children as the main characters which is pretty neat! ?

  2. Traveling sounds fun, especially going to Japan :). I’m currently planning for a road trip myself, cooking/baking fall recipes and planning future blog posts 🙂

      1. I hope you guys do too 🙂 Please take pictures if you do lol and yes! I am looking forward to it.

  3. Fiji looks like such a nice place to visit, such pristine, clear waters!
And how exciting! Japan is #1 in my list but I’m going to wait a few years because our son may end up having to go along with us, which means we will have to find kid activities and places to go with him. I’d recommend seeing the Tokyo tower, eating ramen, visiting a shrine, and possibly visiting Kyoto if you plan to travel around Japan. There’s literally SOOO much to see and do in Japan, just depends on your preferences and in which prefecture you’ll be at.
And how good was Stranger Things?! We binged watched it in two days, no shame lol.

    1. Fiji was so nice!! I would love to go back some day!
Japan has been on the top of our list for a few years now, so we’re finally deciding to do it! We’re considering Kyoto and Osaka on top of Tokyo, but Tokyo will be our main stay. I’m already looking at activities to do there, there’s so many options!!
Haha, we binge watched Stranger Things too, it was so good 😀

      1. There’s plenty of things to do in and around Tokyo, so even if you don’t get to go too far out, you’ll find many things to do and try over there 🙂
It was!! I wish they would make a 3rd season but it seems like it may not happen.
