Winnie the Pooh Quotes

I’ve shared another quotes post a long time ago, but lately, I’ve been really into quotes from Winnie the Pooh. They’re so sweet and heartwarming, and with such a big impact for everyone, both children and adults. Also, I’ve always just had a soft spot for these characters. Funnily enough, I got into them more when I was older than when I was a kid.

Here are some of my favourite quotes!

One of my most top quotes is this one. “You are stronger than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think”. It always makes me feel more confident in myself, we all doubt ourselves, but we really are capable of more than we think.

Another one that I loved so much, that I printed a little card of it. Love is a feeling. Enough said. Such a sweet way of explaining the concept of love.

The pin this came attached to was about ‘vow worthy’ quotes from Winnie the Pooh, and I could see this working as a vow. It can be about a special connection with anyone you meet though, not just a lifelong partner, it could be a lifelong friend as well. Sometimes you meet someone, and you just know something amazing is going to come from that relationship.

Winnie the Pooh stands out in gold foil detail as he marches through an illustration of the Hundred Acre Wood. Pooh addresses the key qualities of a special teacher giving you the perfect introduction to compliment a deserving teacher in your own school.

This is a Hallmark card, but it’s also such a true quote. Having someone believe in you makes a huge difference! It’s so important, and another little nugget of inspiration.

Another quote that is just so sweet. When you’re with loved ones, just hanging out and having fun, you don’t realize that you’re making so many amazing memories.

goodbye, love, quote, winnie the pooh

I ended it on one of the most bittersweet ones. I think in the story, the goodbye is a short one, but it could relate to a bigger goodbye to someone. The way it’s phrased is meta and sweet, “Can’t we go back to page one and do it all over again?”. This hit me the hardest, and I think it’s definitely a poignant one to leave this on.

Do you guys know Winnie the Pooh? What was your favourite childhood quotes?

  1. I was a huge Winnie the Pooh fan as a child. I even had the teddy bear which my parents bought me when I went through my first surgery. I appreciate the quotes now that I am older. They are so meaningful and beautifully written.

  2. I loved Tigger and when I met Tuktuk (Adi’s lab) I was so delighted because his nose looked a bit like Tigger’s 🙂 I love all of those quotes, Angela. Nuggets of wisdom were passed on so early to us. xx

  4. I love winnie the pooh, especially the older sketchy style illustrations of it. I’ve also always loved quotes so quotes from winnie the pooh are like the ultimate combination haha. Funny enough I also didn’t get into winnie the pooh as much until I was older, now I absolutely love him! Thanks for posting this ?
