December Favourites

Another month gone, and we’re at the end of another year! Here’s my favourites from this month!

best mug

This month I got a few new mugs, and I’m already loving them. My favourite has to be the ones that my co-worker got me for Secret Santa. I use it everyday for my morning coffee. It’s the “I Woke Up Like This” mug. It’s cute, sassy, and the perfect size! I love my other mugs too though, but that one is just a little more on top!

Tarte Treasure Box Collector’s Set

I am still so in love with this product! I talked about it extensively in this post. It’s technically many products in one gorgeous chest, but I keep calling it a product. I use basically everything in this when I want to get a bit more dolled up. I love the range of eyeshadows, the highlighter, and the bronzers! As for the extra goodies, I always use the Sex Kitten eyeliner now, and I really love the mascara and lipstick too!

Nerdy Nummies

I haven’t even baked anything from this book and it’s already in the favourites. Look, I wanted to bake something straight away, but the sweets level in our house is insane. We’ve been getting snacks from all direction, that I’ve decided to hold off on baking until after all the sweets have left, otherwise it’s just an overload. I have decided to try the basic recipes first, before trying one of the more complex ones. Just to test out my skills!

Scented Candle

I only have two candles, but I have been enjoying have them a lot. They make the room smell nice, and both the ones I have are edible smelling. I have a little left of the vanilla candle. I also was given a bonus gift by Rory, which was a creme brulee scented candle! It smells so good, and looks so pretty! It’s on most nights!

Snacks Galore

So this doesn’t really make sense, but literally, the snacks have not stopped coming this month! Mostly all from work. From our centre manager, we got a huge bag of goodies, and then from lovely families of our centre. The Christmas spirit is very generous at my work, and there’s never a shortage of sweets and snacks in our house throughout December!

That’s what I’ve been loving this month! Can you believe 2018 is just a few days away??

  1. I got Nerdie Nummies for Christmas and I’m in love with it already too before I’ve even tried anything ๐Ÿ˜€ I’m with you on the snacks we have so much food in this house! And so many leftovers from Christmas still, so many crisps and cakes and chocolate… so much rubbish ?

  2. Subtle scented candles are the way to go, particularly vanilla. Strong scents give me headaches lol. The big Ferrero Rocher is packaged so nicely, it looks appealing ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Same here with the strong scents. I hate those awful cinnamon broom sticks they fill the grocery stores with in the winter around here. I have to walk by with my nose covered and my head almost always gets a dull aching.

      1. I’ve had rare experiences with strong ones, but I always have to leave the room as the scent seems to punch you in the face. Maybe it’s why you get headaches if you breathe it in for too long.

    2. I’m with you there. I like the subtle scent more, as the strong ones just get way too overpowering too fast. The Ferrero Rocher was so cool! It was a big hollow one wrapped up, with two normal sized ones inside ๐Ÿ˜€

  3. Between the cookbook and the crรจme brulee candle, I’m gonna step out on a limb and say ya’ll love your sweets in that house. I think it was a good idea to wait on baking or you guys are bound to be found laying on the floor in a food coma. The counter of snacks will keep you fired up through January, lol. You’ll also be buying more candles when those are finished based on my experience. I love candles.

    1. We are both fond of sweets yes. Possibly me a little more. At least, it takes longer for me to hit the food coma than Rory. He’s aware of his limits. I’m not..
They’re slowly going down though! I am loving that creme brulee candle, it’s got me curious to see what other candle scents are out there ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. I love your mug! I’v been into mugs since I was 18 but, this year, it has become and addiction which I call “collection” lol Mugs and plants are my thing. They’re beautiful and they make me happy. I don’t buy expensive scented candles, only when I find them on sale. I bought about 50 red and pink tealights that smell like red fruits for Christmas for about 3$50 and I’m pretty happy about them. They smell amazing and will last a long time. The palette is just perfect, I would wear every single color, trust me. โค

    1. I love mugs too! I always want more, but we’re already starting to run out of space, so I have to slow down. I do know how much you love your plants ๐Ÿ˜€ It’s nice to have an addiction, as long as it isn’t hurting anyone then what’s the harm ๐Ÿ˜€
I do like candles, but it’s not something I’m addicted to (yet).
I do love this palette! I’ve started experimenting with some colours I wouldn’t have dared to try a few months back ๐Ÿ˜€

      1. Thankfully my kitchen is big and has plenty of cabinet space so Iโ€™m not giving up on my mugs anytime soon. Plus I can always use them as decorations, to hold pens or makeup brushes ? oh yes, better plants than cocaine hahahaha
