As always, I like to share with you guys what I’ve bought recently. I like reading/watching hauls from you guys, and frankly I like doing them myself too. So here’s what I’ve bought recently!
Stationary
Learning Japanese – Hiragana and Katakana Workbooks
As mentioned in my 2018 Goals, I’ve been learning Japanese through Duolingo. Well, Rory and I have. Fueled by our future trip to Japan, we’ve been enjoying learning Japanese. The app doesn’t help too much with writing the characters though, so we found these workbooks. It’s been a lot of fun using this on top of Duolingo.
Electronics
Ring Light
I was looking at a few things on Amazon, and this caught my eye. I would love a full size ring light, but those are very expensive. This one is small, handheld, and clips onto my phone easily. I’ve been loving using it to help with lighting when I take my selfies haha!
Clothes
Jeans
I have a habit of running through my jeans. Especially in the cooler seasons when I wear them on a daily basis. Due to my job though, they tend to get ripped and worn, and only last a few months. So while thrift shopping, I came across these two blue jeans. I liked that they’re not the usual dark blue colour I have for my jeans. They’re very comfy and I hope will last a while.
Workout Clothes
Again, as part of my 2018 goals, I wanted to work out more regularly. I’ve been doing well with this, but sometimes it’s hard to motivate myself. We went shopping and there was a sale at Cotton On. I loved the high waisted shorts, as I only have long workout pants which I hate using in summer especially. I also decided to get a blue singlet as there was a 2-for-1 deal thing happening.
Black Ballet Flats
Like with jeans, I have a habit of going through ballet flats. They’re fairly cheap, and tend to be seasonal with me. I haven’t bought any new ones this summer so far, so I figured it was time. These are really comfy and I’ve started wearing them almost everyday.
Makeup
Lipsticks
I bought a pink MAC lipstick online, along with a set of six NYX Lingerie mini lippies. I don’t have too big of a range of lipsticks, and these were cheap, so I gave them a go. The MAC one is a pink shade, and the NYX are a mixture of nudes (browns, purples, peach, etc).
Tarte Shape Tape Concealer
I’ve been wanting to try this concealer for the longest time. I help back for a few reasons, mostly that I couldn’t try find my shade in store. I matched it with my Bare Minerals concealer and went for a medium. It matches my skin tone perfectly and does a good job of covering my undereyes and blemishes. It also dries well and doesn’t leave streaky marks which I really appreciate.
Colour Pop Yes Please Palette
I had been eyeing this up for the longest time. I love the colours! They’re based off ‘magic hour’, so the colours are all bright and golden, and I can’t wait to get into them!
