You guys know the drill.

Haaaaaaaaave you met Kali?

Kali blogs over at Kali Borovic (a.k.a. Ink On My Hands). Kali is 24, based over in Ohio, in the US and works as a journalist, she’s currently a contributing editor for Bustle. She blogs about her love for thrifting (she’s literally the Thrift Queen), living purposefully, fashion, beauty and life in general.

Kali has been blogging for a few years now, at least her about page is dated back in 2013. I’m not sure if she’s been blogging consistently for that long, but her blogging game is definitely strong and she strikes me as having heaps of experience and knows what she’s talking about. She has over 800 followers, which is no surprise as she’s amazing. Here’s her words about what her blog is about:

I started this blog as a way to document my journey to living purposefully. It quickly turned into a place to highlight gluten-free, all-natural beauty products and my thrift projects. Just two of the many ways I try to make a difference in the world. I’d love to share my journey with you and to help you on a path to purposeful living as well.

Isn’t she wonderful?? Also, random aside, I discovered we’re around the same height which is awesome cause no one is ever as short as me (us).

• Mother’s Day Thrifted Outfit Recreations

 

I love this post!! For Mother’s Day, Kali recreated outfits from old photos of her mother and grandmother (all thrifted of course). She did such a great job and looks stunning in all the photos (as does her muses).

• My 14 year old brother gave me the best fashion advice

Kali’s brother doesn’t ask for anyone’s advice or opinion after trying something on. Kali reflects on this in the post about how this is different and kinda cool. Why rely on other people’s opinions, sure it’s nice to know what they think, but you know what you like. Food for thought 😀

• The Hunt for the Perfect Swimsuit & Fighting Summer Anxiety

An amazing post by Kali with an inspiring, positive message. Kali shares her thoughts about trying to find the perfect swimsuit while reflecting on summer anxiety. I don’t want to talk too much about it, as it’s something everyone should read for themselves!

• 8 Year Anniversary, Thrifted Anniversary Dress

Look at the cuties!! Kali and Chad have just celebrated eight years together! I’m a sucker for all things romantic and any kind of love story, so I loved these posts. The first post is Kali’s reflection on both relationships and personal growth. The second is their celebration of said anniversary, and Kali shares with us her amazing bohemian thrifted dress. Also, she includes the cutest video of her giggling while Chad pushes her on a swing. I mean, can they get any cuter??

• The Thrift List July

I mentioned this in my latest What’s Up Wednesday post. Kali has created this list and is planning on completing it during the month, only through thrift stores of course. She has extended the challenge to all of us as well, and I’m excited to take part!

• Awesome Blogger Award

I love how Kali writes her award posts. Hers are always unique, and she mixes it up by throwing in shots from magazine collages she makes in her blogging notebook!! They’re always so much fun to look through and to learn more about this lovely lady!

She’s also very active over on Insta!

Kali, you are so creative and inspiring! I always look forward to reading your posts, and seeing what you’ve gotten up to, or what product/item you’ve found to share with us all! You’re genuine and caring, and a huge influence in our blogging community! You’re going to continue to do great things, and I’m glad to have you as an one of my online friends 🙂
