Have You Met Jenny?

Hey guys, yesterday’s Have You Met was about Maggie. I started this series last week, and now I’m up to my fourth installment. Thank you for all the support you guys have given me with this series! I hope you’ve been checking everyone out 😉

Right, to today’s introduction.

Haaaaaaaaave you met Jenny?

32

Jenny blogs over at Sit Back and Just Live. She is based in Boston, over in the US. She is 27, and lives with her longtime partner Andrew. She is very close with her family and friends, and her and Andrew have recently gone on an amazing West Coast road trip down to California! I’ve been following her adventures on Instagram, and it looks like they’re having an amazing time! She has just returned to the blogosphere yesterday, and I’m so excited to hear all about their adventures!!

Taken from her About page:

I’m a 27 year old, Virgo, girly-girl, sunflower & coffee loving, ‘young’ professional, and now lifestyle blogger. Follow me as I write about my life adventures, make-up, clothes, traveling, and a whole assortment of miscellaneous things.

Isn’t that the most professional About Me page? I could never sum myself up in just a few sentences!

Jenny was one of the earliest bloggers I followed. Her blog just seems so professional and well planned out. She has many series going on, as well as many collaborations. She is currently doing A Girl Can Dream, which is a monthly series, with JacqueliineJoy as well as the 52 Week Blogging Challenge she created with Britt. She also always does a weekend recap, and I love seeing what adventures she and Andrew get up to! She also does What’s Up Wednesdays, Friday Favourites, Show and Tell Tuesday, Here are a Few of My Favourite Things, Weekend Recaps, and so much more! She’s so busy!

She is also incredibly supportive to her fellow bloggers! She always has words of encouragement, shows genuine interest in the posts we write, and is a big influence when it comes to thinking up of blogging ideas (especially when it comes to lifestyle posts). She’s so down to earth and fun to talk to.

Okay, let’s have a look at some of my favourite posts of hers!

So this was Jenny’s little update to let us know they were finally on her trip! While it was a short trip, I did feel very excited as Jenny had been talking about this trip for over a month! Judging from the pictures she’s sharing on Insta, it’s been an amazing holiday so far!

She has just put up the first part of her adventures, and I was so happy to read her tales. Also I’ve missed the constant food photos!

I am always loving reading Jenny’s weekend recaps. Her and Andrew often go off and have little adventures which I love reading about! It was through reading these weekend recaps that I got more interested in talking about my own weekends. This is one of my favourites, they visited Marblehead, which “is a beautiful, wealthy, coastal New England town that has beautiful water front views.” Jenny’s words. The pictures they shared were stunning!

These were part of the A Girl Can Dream series I mentioned earlier. Jenny’s dream wedding is very sunflower oriented (as she says in her bio, she loves sunflowers). In her dream home post, she shares images and styles of what she likes for different areas/rooms of the house. It was such a fun post to do, and I had to get involved! So I made my own Dream Home post. I’m super excited for this months’ theme which I believe is Dream Closet. I’m sure I’ll go down another Pinterest hole.

I just enjoyed reading this post so much. It’s an often asked question, do you prefer coffee or tea? Jenny’s post was short and sweet, and so much fun. It also led to looots of discussion in the comments over everyone’s preferences 😀

This was one of the first Day in the Life posts I read during my blogging time. I loved that Jenny shared so many pictures over the course of the day, it made it a lot more fun following her on her day. I’m very visual, so I love when there’s lots of pictures shared, it’s one of the main reasons I love Jenny’s blog so much!

Jenny, you have become a big source of inspiration for me when it comes to blogging. I love your mix of writing and visuals. You are so supportive and sweet, you seem to have this blogging game down which I admire so much, and your content is consistently amazing!

So, have you guys checked out Jenny yet? Make sure you do, cause you’re missing out!

The next Have You Met will continue next Saturday.

Angela.

  1. Okay, I love the sunflower bouquet so very very much. I’ve never imagined sunflowers this way, so elegant and free-spirit combined. Also, the vacation photos were stunning. I’d love to check it out!

      1. As someone who grew up in the United States, it is fun to get to go to various states. I grew up in North Carolina. I grew up going to Missouri and Florida a lot for vacation. Sometimes we would go on wonderful trips with cousins such as Colorado and Alaska. There was the special trip I had to New York with my mom and she took me to see a show on Broadway, which was back in 2006.

Oh hey, btw Siyana, I’ve been having trouble leaving comments on your post. It doesn’t let me log in, so I can’t post a comment :/
I keep trying, but something keeps going weird. I’ll keep trying though! Just wanted to let you know, that I’m still loving your blog 😀 😀

      1. Ah thank you for letting me know! ❤ Is that a recent problem? Because someone else told me about it and I think I fixed it but maybe I didn't 😀

      2. I think so. It asks me to log in to leave a comment, but when I do it just says that the password is wrong. Which it definitely isn’t. I have no idea why or whose end the issue is on 🤔🤔

      3. Okay, I figured out what was wring. Instead of logging in, simply write your email, name and website and it will automatically log you in, if that makes sense. I’d appreciate if you try this way and tell me how it goes 😊
