January Photos

I’m starting yet another series! You guys know how much I love taking photos of things, and they stack up. Not all make it onto the blog, but a lot do. So at the end of each month, I’ll be gathering my favourite photos from the month and dumping them here!

Get ready for a lot of photos!

Travel

We had a few day trips this month. Out to Percy Scenic Reserve for a picnic and to see the lighthouse at Cape Palliser.

Food

I shared two new baking posts this month! Both from the Nerdy Nummies recipe book! I made Star Constellation Cookies and Smart Cookies!

Miscellaneous

This group of photos is for those random photos I’ve taken for the blog, or just in everyday life.

Selfies

DSLR Selfie

As you can see, I like to take a lot of selfies. Mostly to show how I’m experimenting with makeup. It’s always a fun part of my day! I’ve noticed that I now have a go-to selfie pose. Eyes down and head slightly tilted. Never would have noticed until I looked at all these photos in a row.

Most of these are taken with my DSLR, but a few are from my phone. I always enjoy taking photos more with my DSLR now. The photos always seem to have much more detail.

  2. I think this is great Angela. I love photos :):) They tell such great stories all on their own. I’d love to see photos with no captions, and try to figure out where, and what the story behind them are, then see how close I was to the right answer :):)

Well, maybe you’ll throw some up and let us guess. :):) See who gets it right, or close to right, or who was most creative :):) But then again, we might be the only 2 who likes guessing what the pictures story is. And since they are your pictures, obviously you’d know, and I’d be the only one having fun LOL

  6. I love this, such a nice way to share your recent pics ? these are great & I’ve definitely been using my new camera for pics too. the phone doesn’t really compare after you’ve used a better camera!

    1. Thanks Jamie! The quality really is so much more amazing with a camera! Especially when you want to do edits, it’s a lot easier with a photo captured with a camera than on your phone ?

  11. You don’t know how much I’m dying to build one of my puzzles but little munchkin has tiny hands that lose anything he grabs ?
    Loving all these shots though! I’ve been wanting to do something similar, like a monthly portfolio because I’ve been practicing photographing things often too ?
