My Shoe Collection

This post is pretty self explanatory. After doing the Closet Confidential tag, I ended up taking pictures of all the current shoes I own. I thought it would be fun to show you guys all my shoes! I only own 10 pairs at the moment which isn’t bad. Trust me, it used to be waaay bigger, but I’ve gotten good at downsizing.

So here we go!

Winter boots

These used to belong to my sister. I have taken many of her things over the years. Anyway, these are super comfy. The inside is lined with wool, so they’re like slippers. But the outside is a hard, kinda waterproof leather. They keep me warm.

Ankle boots

I wear these constantly. They’re my go-to for nearly everyday (in all seasons but summer), as they give me a little height,  they’re comfy, and grey ankle boots just seem to go with anything and everything.

Walking shoes

I bought these for my Peru trip, as I didn’t currently own a good pair of walking shoes. These trusted shoes have been with me on so many trips, and they keep me comfortable after hours and sometimes days of walking. I don’t use them too much for everyday use though.

Running shoes

These are by New Balance I believe. When I first started working out and going to the gym, I used my walking shoes. But they are walking shoes for a reason, if you try run in them, they will hurt. They can’t handle all that action, so I needed running shoes. These are now my go-to athletic/workout shoes. They get a fair amount of use I’m happy to say.

Pretty shoes

These are by Clarks. They are comfortable, but not all-day comfortable. They’re beautiful yes, but I only wear them when we drive somewhere more than walk. I have gotten so many compliments about them 😀

Strappy wedges

So I love wedges, and I needed a pair I can wear without socks. These wedges are pretty, and kinda comfortable. Same problem as above though, I can’t walk around in them all day. Just for half.

 

I love ballet flats. They’re so convenient, and come in so many colours and designs. You can see that I have a thing for ribbons. I go through these pretty fast though, as they’re my go-to whenever it’s not raining and I don’t feel like wearing socks.

My black heels

I used to wear these all the time when I did office work. They were classy, shiny, and went with every outfit. They also weren’t too tall that I got tired easily. Can’t wear them to work now though, and also I’m so used to flats that wearing heels now tires me after 30 minutes. I can’t bring myself to get rid of them though. They’re my ‘just in case’ heels.

Oh! Wait, I do have one more pair of shoes, but I don’t know when I’ll use them again.

Wedding shoes

I don’t know what to do with them. They’re too pretty to get rid of though.
