Empties Post

My first ever empties post! How exciting. Or we could think about this as the time that I finally remembered to save the trash of products and samples I had tried.

So here’s my collected empties:

empties

Lush Avobath Bath Bomb – While this one looked the least spectactular, it’s been my favourite bath bomb. Avocado, olive oil, lemongrass, rosewood, and other stuff all mixed together in hot water was perfect for a relaxing night in. I almost fell asleep in it, so maybe it was too relaxing, or I was really tired. Either way, I will get this one again.

Drunk Elephant TLC Glycolic Night Serum – I got this as a complimentary sample from an online order. I didn’t have too much of an opinion on this one. I could feel an effect from putting it on which weirded me out (I felt tingly), and while my face did feel smooth in the morning, I don’t think I’d try it again. It’s just too weird for me.

Hourglass Ambient Light Correcting Primer Moonlight – Another complimentary sample, but unlike the previous one I really liked this one. It definitely gave me a more glowy look just from the small amount I used. I would definitely look into purchasing the full one.

DERMA E Vitamin C Concentrated Serum – I am quite sad that I recently finished this. I’ve been using it daily for the past few months, and on top of smelling citrus-y and nice, it did help to brighten my skin. I am on the lookout for it again.

YesTo Grapefruit Sleeping Mask – So all these next ones came from my Night Time Cozy Subscription Box. I had never tried a sleeping mask before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect and if it would make a mess. There was a decent bit of product so I rubbed it all in and after a few minutes it seemed to soak in which was good. When I woke up, there was nothing on my pillow luckily, my face felt refreshed, and when I rinsed it off, the refreshed feeling stayed. I prefer this to sheet masks that’s for sure. I don’t think I’d get it again though, I’m not too into masks in general.

Agadir Argan Oil Hair Treatment – I’m somewhat lazy when it comes to beauty treatments, and this one bugged me a little. Why? Well you had to shampoo your hair, towel dry slightly then put in the treatment and leave it in for 3-5 minutes. After that you needed to rinse it out. So this in and out of the shower business was somewhat annoying to me, but it did make my hair super soft and shiny for the day. Would I get it again? Probably not. It was fun to try though.

I had a lot of fun writing this. I’m definitely going to try save more of the products I try rather than immediately throwing them out 😀

Have you guys tried any of these products?

Angela.
